Why do I Write?
A few books from my shelf. See any you recognize? I love stories. That's the heart of the matter right there. Tell me a good tale that makes me think and feel and I'll dream about it for days or years after. Short, long, happy, sad, true, fiction, movie, book - I love it all! Some things I don't disagree with, but hey - it got me thinking and forming opinions so it was good for something. Frequently throughout my slice of life, I've had scenes play out in my head. I've met characters and given them questions of "what do you do if you're faced with..." and then I dream out the results. Often times those scenes start to burn in my mind, I grow excited, and I can't think of anything else until I have taken that vivid image and scribbled it onto paper or typed it on a computer anditjustmakesmesohappywhenit'sfinally DONE!
